Summerland Art Gallery Opening Exhibition

It was a wonderful feeling to have this group join me at the Summerland Art Gallery opening exhibition, Proudly Canadian, a juried Federation of Canadian Artists of the Okanagan Similkameen show. My large Acrylic on Canvas painting, “Giant’s Head Summit” was inspired by reaching the top of the mountain exhilarated with the satisfaction of seeing the beauty of the land while hiking one of the numerous trails. In the foreground of the composition is the rough wooden fence on either side of the trail sweeping you into the very centre of the incredible viewpoint.
