Big Happy Spring Poppies

I love to be out in my garden, especially when I am surrounded by my beautiful bright poppies in the spring. After an exceptionally rainy overcast winter sky in the Okanagan this year, it is so refreshing to celebrate the warm colours of the oranges and reds of the poppies. Their lovely curved stems and buds, with the flowers waving in the breeze are so alive, and full of life. The vibrant light and the glorious
colour guarantee that the early spring poppies are always a joy to paint.
