KVR Trail, South East

This is a larger sister painting to KVR Trail, which is also shown in this website, but is a landscape looking south toward Penticton. The Trans Canada Trail enters Naramata and Penticton from the north along the east bluffs of Okanagan Lake. This late fall landscape was created with the sensitive use of a delicate light to form a painting rich in atmosphere. Using tonal values of blue is meant to capture a more subtle light and mood, for a more emotional landscape.
