Tundra Swans Journey to the Okanagan
C$1,000.00Price
It is always exciting to view the Tundra Swans wintering on Vaseux Lake, the south east side of Skaha Lake, or on the south west side of Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, during the months of November to March. The seasonal appearance of the Tundra Swans is a phenomena of nature. These large, white, swimming birds, with the long curved neck and black bill usually have a patch of yellow skin below their eye. The length of an average Tundra Swan is approximately fifty-five inches. They forage on plant material on land or in water, often in flocks that include the Trumpeter Swan.
